Great views down at the beach, large park, friendly staff & informative ranger. They offer fair camping rates & give discounts for people with disabilities and veterans. There are some really cool & private camp spots for RV's! I recommend the pavilion down at the beach. Cheap to rent it for a ton of people. Great to get away because it is pretty far from commercial areas and tucked away near a nice residential area on the water.

We love this park! I grew in the area and as kids we would fish and explore there often! My wife and I got married there a few years back and had a wonderful experience. We rented out the torpedo warehouse and saved a ton of money relative to a traditional venue. The park staff were very helpful in the planning process. Whether you're wanting to get hitched or just visit one of Washington's great parks you can't go wrong with Manchester.

Absolutely blown away with this park. The trails here are gorgeous. They sport several fantastic views of Puget Sound with Mt Rainier in the background and you'll be surrounded by a huge old growth forrest for most of the hike. Beware of the Poison Oak though. Littered through out the whole park are the ruins of the old battery that was supposed to reside here. A couple of informational signs give a little backstory to them as well. The park has countless grills and picnic tables, as well as horse shoes, volleyball and a huge pavilion. The only draw back is the beach it's self. When I was here it was covered in seaweed and algae and produced a rancid smell similar to sulfur pots in Yellow Stone. The camp ground area is also very nice. Water and power at every site and bathrooms and dumpsters are close to almost all sites. There is also a group camping area that is available for private group use with a bathroom, open field, showers, group fire pit, outdoor pavilion. All in all I would recommend this park to anyone who loves the outdoors.

A nice park with some killer views of the water. Note though that you have to pay to enter or have a discovery pass
