The cowboy rib eye was delicious! Mikie was excellent as was the rest of the staff. I read the reviews after I ordered and they did not measure up to what I experienced. The steak was superb, mashed potatoes were real and the drinks were excellent. I would say this is a hidden treasure! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will be back
This place is great! The food was some of the best I’ve had. The breaded veal chop and petite filet were amazing, as well as all of the sides. The service staff were friendly and constantly checked in on us. I will definitely be coming back!Food: 5/5
Mikie greated us with a smile sat us at a table . He brought water to us right away & said your server will be with you shortly. Our server came within 3-5 minutes & asked us if we would like a cocktail. I had filet steak & my husband had lambchops . Everything was cooked to our our liking . very friendly people. Definitely will go back
Order a filet medium. When it arrived very well done I showed it to the waiter. He returned shortly with my filet all cut up saying there was some pink in the middle. No class. This time I refused it and they did replace. No classFood: 2/5
Dry loud. Server suggested the more expensive strip steak. Too tough to chew, very bad steak. After commenting on the toughness of my steak, no adjustment was made. $230 plus was too much for our meals!Food: 1/5
If you can get a reservation here .. Go! Went with a group of 8 and tried a lot of their appetizers Blue Cheese Gnocchi was amazing and the Bacon side ... I will order again and again. Servers were fantastic offering advice and the entire party's steaks were cooked to perfection.Food: 5/5
A classic steakhouse, one of the best dinners I’ve ever had and certainly the best steak in Southwest Florida. This place is amazing, rich mahogany, brass fixtures, classic cocktails, dry aged steaks and sides a la carte. Lobster mac and cheese and German potatoes to name a couple. It’s a little hard to find, but isn’t that what a “hidden gem” is all about. Just follow the signage. My wife and I were tipped off to this place from a friend, and it didn’t disappoint. The prices are fair. Food was superb. The service was a relaxed elegance. Servers with knowledge of the menus and steaks. They wore bow ties and creases white button down shirts. The owners of the place really know what they are doing, and if you know steakhouse environment, this place with not be lost on you. I am very impressed, and look forward to my next visit. Lastly, the chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream sealed the deal for me.
If you’re considering this place please consider somewhere else. I would give it no stars if I could. It’s too overpriced and expensive to ignore ALL the negative reviews. My husband and I both ignored them because his boss recommended. Big mistake. Actually this was the worst date I’ve ever been on unfortunately. The waiter seemed kind enough but was terrible. Never came back to see if I wanted anything else, for example another glass of wine. My “Chilean sea bass” was literally FROZEN throughout the entire middle about a $50+ dish and the waiter just whisked it off and brought my some random fish dish that was flat as a pancake, drowned in lemon sauce, and 500 capers and I typically love capers. But completely opposite of my original order of the sea bass filet. Had he bothered to ask what I’d like instead I would’ve asked for the filet mignon. But didn’t get the chance. After he takes the second unfortunate dish away we say we’ll take the check but would like boxes for the expensive sides we ordered, which I hadn’t eaten because I was waiting for a replacement to my frozen fish. He tosses all the sides in the trash and brings a check for $170??? So we paid $170 for my husband’s ONE meal, a soda, and my one glass of wine??? Yea no. The manager was equally ignorant he also looks to be a server possibly or he was just filling in as a “manager” and he can’t figure out our frustrations. It’s not rocket science buddy. Anyway, the point is save your hard earned dollars and go to a real steakhouse restaurant. There’s tons of horrible reviews for this place for a reason, now I know why. Go enjoy Roy’s, Chops, Angelina’s even Outback would be better they’re all close by in Bonita and 100000000% better, and similarly priced.
High class place LOW class food. Took my family for Good Friday. Tuna was fishy and cold in the middle. Cowboy steak was gristly. Both seemed like they were frozen. Avoid at all costs!!
The service was not up to a fine dining restaurant, no manager on duty, the 22 oz steak was small, the coffee was old and cold, and one of our dining companions had sat in the chair and did not see that food had been spilled down the back of the chair which ended up on her white jacket, the restrooms were filthy with a urinal cake in the sink and no paper towels! All in all an epic fail for a first time dinner experience! Needless to say, we will not be going back.
