Vegan offerings were unusual not in a good way, and the "vegan panini" was TERRIBLE. Chunks of seasoned beets? Or some flavorless vegetable crumbling out of a dry sandwich that was not hot. No flavor. No crunch. Not what vegans actually eat or want to eat. In this day and age, especially in NYC, there is no reason to pass this off as a vegan meal offering.

This diner got new management about a year ago and totally changed it for the better! The new menu is super delicious diner food + some. They also have $10 cocktails. Service is good! Portions are huge. Wonderful for a casual meal. Curly fries are amazing here! Most entrees are under $15Food: 4/5

Super busy and packed on nice weather Saturday morning. We went to the place and didn't be able to get in. We went home and order for delivery instead. Food came quickly but terrible packing. The juice from the food is leaking all over the paper bag and tare the bag. Delivery guy told me to call the restaurant if I have any problems with the food because the bag was leaking from the beginning. At least if they know there is a watery order, they should wrap the container up with plastic wrap to prevent the food break down the bag. I order steak and eggs; the steak has too much fat and potato are too soggy, meh. I went to eat there at least twice in past years and remember I wasn't crazy about the food but because I saw the place still there and want to give them a chance. So, I guess they didn't improve anything.

Packed, 10 min after seated a line formed.It has two areas one with a dinner vibes, other area with dim lights a bar and a vintage TV. Nice customer service, got the burrito with beef would recommend. Great portion sizes.Food: 5/5

Despite the diner's new ownership, little feels like it has changed. It remains an old-school diner with top-notch diner fare. The familiar retro decor, friendly staff, and classic menu items at very reasonable prices continue to create an old-school, greasy spoon diner feel. I am grateful this diner found new ownership and was spared the fate of so many other diners in the area.

I don’t wanna be overly effusive as these seems a rare gem I need avoid exposing. Not to gatekeep, as I myself am a recent explorer. But incredible ambiance, place id have a piece of pie after seeing a film.Food: 5/5

Sorry triple decker but you have to do better than this! I want to give you guys a good rating so bad but this is unacceptable . $15 dollars for a few pieces of lettuce and some chicken ????! Then $12 in delivery surcharge’s???? That’s not even including tip . Please respond to this I don’t want to post

This is your friendly neighborhood diner, with some really amazing coffee. Turns out the coffee comes from Variety Cafe, and you can taste the deliciousness. The service was friendly and quick. The food was great! Super high quality, fresh and tasty.  Feels like there are so few quality diners any longer. Happy this place is still here and still amazing. Looking for more tasty foods soon.

Total staff fail. A very calm evening in the restaurant, ie NOT busy. Situation was A complete joke. our orders were both missing ingredients a Greek salad missing feta, a patty melt with no pickles. and then a wait staff that couldn't apologize, or even humorously acknowledge an oops for itfood was decent though as was the menu's graphic design and decor was fun. but got to give it a HARD PASS FOR BAD SERVICE . Better luck next time

Closer to 4.5! I had a great experience, everything you'd want in a diner. We did have to wait for about 25 min to get seated on a Saturday around 2 pm, but that's to be expected.  The bloody Marys really hit a spot! I also ordered an egg white omelette with pepper jack, spinach and veggie sausage, which was solid. The buttered rye toast paired well.  The vibe of this place is fun, classic diner with great tunes. Service was very friendly too. Would definitely come back, the pancakes looked delicious from afar. Relatively affordable spot too!
