An unjust prosecutor who will charge without evidence knowing that, in between the charges being filed and dismissal of the case, there is punishment without guilt having to be proved. There should be an investigation into the abuse of this process as I know of three other people this prosecution's office has done this to, despite overwhelming evidence in favor of the defendant.

Let child abusers off the hook There was a incident at Kennedy Elementary School, Manistee, MI, where a child (My son) was assaulted by a parent in the school gym, during free time in the morning before school started. My son did not aggravate this, as if that would matter anyway, but was approached by a parent of student because he was screaming in the gym, she approached him, yelled at him, admitted to grabbing him (which she believed) could have been enough to have torn his jacked, therefore she purchased him another. On the gift box, she admitted to "bullying" him. Her words, not mine. She stated that he needed to learn respect! Whereas, if she was practicing what she was preaching, she would have not put herself in this position, would not have assaulted my son, there would not have been a problem. She admitted to not letting him go when he said "let go of me". This case should have been prosecuted, is there a prejudice, is this injustice? Yes, I believe it to be both! Prosecutors are there to prosecute cases. Does Manistee County believe that child abuse is an everyday event, that it is okay? I think that this office has abused its powers and has shown negligence again a child who was assaulted, with the victim having no recourse but to be denied the rights that our Constitution has given him.
