I stopped in before setting out for some apartment tours, and the woman at the front desk was so sweet and helpful.   She gave me a Relocation List with phone numbers and websites of local businesses and she even provided me some leads on apartments.   So much better than using the internet, thank you.

The two stars is not a reflection on the downtown shops and restaurants. If l were rating those it would be a higher rating. HOWEVER, all the vagrants have RUINED Manitou and the surrounding area. I have been coming to this area at least yearly for 40 years. Manitou / Old Colorado City were the shining jewels. Quaint and beautiful. I understand the vagrant situation is difficult to stop and efforts have been made. However the vagrants, "travelers" and what else they call themselves are turning Manitou and the surrounding area into a place that is dangerous and repulsive. Something must be done. Yes the bums may have rights, however so should the local businesses, residents and tourist. Until then like many, l have no desire to spend my time and money there. Such a shame, truly use to love Manitou...

Great people.. just wondering why information centers always close so early. Seems like it's the opposite of assisting with information. 
I need to plan ahead in the future. For now, it's day by day.
