The food was okay. We got our order in reasonable amount of time. We liked the mango lassi. Everything was on a little expensive side of you compare to other Indian restaurants in the Memphis area. We were surprised to see that 20% gratuity was added to our bill although we were only 4 people.Recommended dishesGobi Manchuria

Great customer service and the manager/owner was extremely accommodating and friendly. Excellent food. We were visiting from out of town but we had a great experience ordering out from this restaurant. We ordered chicken 65, chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani, bhindi masala with naan. The amount of food was quite sufficient. Will definitely visit this place if we go to Memphis again. Please keep up with your good service and food

Other than a bit pricy and I didn't realize the automatic tip was already there, this place has been my favorite Indian cuisine.  Flavorfully cooked, hot, fresh food.  I am still a novice to this cuisine but we'll definitely return. Highly recommend this establishment.   Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the food it smelled so delicious.

We decided to skip our usual Indian take-out spot and try Mantra Indian Grill tonight. I'm so glad we did! The butter chicken is so good and their basmati rice is good enough to eat by itself! Our kids got the chicken vindaloo and they really enjoyed theirs as well. We'll definitely be back!

Mantra has quickly become a favorite dinner spot for my partner and I! We tried it one night because it’s close to home and have been going back ever since. The food is wonderful, the service is great, and we always leave full and happy!

The food was excellent and the presentation was fun. Our server was a pleasure and the restaurant was very clean. The medium level spice was flavorful and wasn’t uncomfortably spicy at all for me. I think I will try the next level up of spice next time. My favorite part was the samosas with tamarind sauce. Paying with cash will save you money.  5/5 Stars. This restaurant exceeded my expectations and I’m not sure as to why the average reviews are lower. I have leftovers and I couldn’t make myself wait until lunch to get into them.

Good food. Not quite as creamy on the tika but good garlic Nan and fast service.  Will return.

Had to ask multiple times for basic things like the correct number of spoons/forks for the number of people 4 people! and refills for water. Even though we asked multiple times it took quite a while. And I mean over 10 minutes. Then when we ordered, the server didn't ask for spice levels,  probably because we're white, and insisted that my curry was spicy when it wasn't at all. He eventually took it back and fixed it. To top it all off they automatically charge 20% gratuity for any party size and an extra 3.5% charge if you're not paying cash. Who does that? I'll tell you who, no one. Food is good but I'll never be back. Forget you ever looked this place up.

So delicious!! I had the Vegetable Jalfreizi and the garlic naan. They were very busy so service took a little longer, but they were so kind in letting me know and making sure I was taken care of.

Absolutely ridiculous! So we had food we liked it. Food isn’t the problemThen a server came out with this appetizer dish we didn’t order so we thought it was complimentary like the other Indian restaurants we go to. The check comes and they charged us twice for this dish we didn’t ask for, then on the bill they have an “administration fee” which they claim is charging you extra for using a card to pay on top of tax btw there is no sign or disclaimer on the menus saying thisTHEN they decided that they were automatically going to charge us 20% gratuity with out even letting you write in your tip. Upon talking to other customers I found out that this is common for them to try to charge you for things you didn’t ask for and all the other hidden fees. I’m never coming here which really is a shame because I liked their food.
