Maple Valley has contracted with the Sheriff's Office for police services since 1997. The department has ten Patrol Officers, one Traffic officer, two Problem Solving Emphasis Team detectives, a full time Detective, one Police Chief, and one Sergeant. In addition we have a police administrative assistant at our front office to assist with community support and administrative police services. We also benefit by receiving additional Sheriff’s Office support such as air support from Guardian One (the Sheriff’s Office helicopter), drug enforcement, marine unit, 911 communication services and major crimes investigative support.

usually i would say that the police are helpful and are worth my tax dollars but i was wrong. it seems like they pick and choose the calls they want to deal with if its not murder rape or robbery don't expect them to show up.

would of gave them 0 stars but it wasn't an option. im adding that i demand an apology for a mentally ill comment directed toward me in police reports and statements. if the police werent so stupid they would have looked into my background and found that i have no history of mental illness. it is another false statement made by the maple valley police and wont be the last until they are all replaced by officers that are worthy of that position. when answering a call they should know how to handle any situation and not lie to the person involved because they do not know the answer. the maple valley police should be grateful i dont get my attorney involved for false statements and allegations.

A dirty bunch of people who knowingly employ corrupt cops like Jeff Johnson.   Johnson is wanted by The people of the United States of America on multiple felonies including falsifying police reports, falsification of charges, and threatening to murder an activist (on tape) that was protesting his other place of employment at the Issaquah Police Department.   This man is armed and dangerous and so are the other officers that have a track record of lying to cover the crimes of Mr. Johnson.     Until Jeff Johnson is in prison and integrity is returned to this department.......these people are a threat to your safety and civil rights!!!     We are keeping this department under 24 hr watch until Mr. Johnson and his accomplices are in prison!!!!    We do not forgive.....we do not forget.......Expect us!!!!!
