Story

Marais will feature elegant full service dining, but upscale Gulf Coast casual menu meaning steaks, fresh seafood, Cajun inspired dishes, some fusion, real Ledenheimer bread based Po-Boys, 3 bars, 3 levels, full wine list & lockers on Benson's Bayou in the heart of Dickinson. Gas lights, elevated " treehouse" terrace, waterfront deck and beergarten make for a very special experience. you will not find anywhere in Galveston County.

I had an amazing meal totally recommended by melody, we started with the shrimp and crab tower, it was light a so good, followed by gumbo the roux was dark like it is meant to be so you can tell that the chef is definitely from Louisiana, then the strawberry salad if you don't order anything else order this. Buy if you're lucky enough to get there to try the barbecue you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is very chic and hip, the swings on the bar, the beautiful decor. It's romantic and modern. With beautiful views of the water. I just found my favorite place.

This place is amazing. The food is great. My husband had steak and I had sea scallops. The waiter was impeccable. I spilled my wine and he brought me a new one, no charge. Everyone was friendly and professional. The staff was very attentive. We will be back.

Our party of 16 celebrated two birthdays at Marais last night. As usual, the food was delicious and the service was superb. One of our guests has a gluten allergy and the staff was extremely helpful with meal suggestions. Our teenagers enjoyed playing Jenga on the patio while our meals were being prepared. A few of our guests are recent transplants from out of state and were so impressed with the food, service and atmosphere, we already made plans to return in the very near future. Can't wait! Keep up the great work!

This place has class and comfort in one location. Large indoor and outdoor seating. The food is very tasty and at a correct price point. I would suggest if your going to the outdoor views to plan you timing before dark. You can not enjoy the water view after dark.

The menu has something for everyone, the bar has swings instead of stools, and there's an outdoor beer garden. What more could you want? How about a friendly staff and beautiful decor. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.
