Prices are excellent here service always kind and friendly i always stop here when I'm in Ocala great service station. Not only gas but they have a great gift shop with all you need to roll your own cigarettes. This is really a full service station you can buy gas get food and drinks and a little gift shop with everything you need this is the place your looking for a convenient stop with energy drinks coffee food. Neil owner great guy always saying hello to me asking me if I need help with anything. Check this place out if you like to roll your own cigarettes. Truly a fine place I'm trying to get him to get non-ethanol gasoline which is much better for your car. Check this place out go inside and buy something everything you need is available always stop and get what I need here tell him JP SENT YOU. NEIL MAY GIVE YOU A DISCOUNT. Gave them a 1 because I could not give them a "0" If you have a Marathon Gas gift card, beware! Marathon gift cards may not be honored in Ocala/Central Florida at this time and no date has been given when they may be good. I attempted to use one today, clerk refused to honor the card at Marathon's direction, citing corporate issues with the card.

Saturday October 10, 2015 5;30 PM Went in after a long walk on a hot sunny afternoon, my service dog and I were exausted needing water from our long walk. The man (likely the owner) behind the counter firmly informed me that I could not shop in this Marathon Gas with my "Pet," and informed me we had to leave without making our purchases. I explained politely that she is my service animal and showed her photo Id service tag and said we needed water very badly and asked if I could just buy a water and go quickly. He repeated his store policy and would not budge on his position. I repeated that we badly needed "Just some water," but he held fast to no service position. We departed politely but stated we are supposed to be given access to shop the same as anyone else, he repeated again "No, it's the store policy." On the wasy out I politly said I would be complaining, he said "That is fine," repeatedly. While exiting the property a Florida State Trooper came to the light, and I waved to him explaining that we needed to buy water and had been denied access to purchase some water. The trooper verified my service animal, then very professionaly went in and explained service animal and handicap access to the store operater, who seemed new to this aspect of retail shoppers. Thanks to the very polite and professional assistance we gained access to very expensive water, and a Mikes lemmonaid for later, and promptly exited without further incident or issue. I found it odd that the owner mentioned he would be complaining about the trooper as we left, mentioning his distaste for a state trooper to be able to enter his store and tell him what he could or could not do. I did not ad further comment but thought that also very odd. If we were not wilting from heat we would have dismissed it, as this is not the first Ocala store (or hotel ) on this road to deny us service. Thank you Florida State Trooper, we desperatley did need that water. God Bless you.
