I went to this school for 7 years and my sister is currently there.(as of the time this was posted) When I went there it was a great school, but my principal was switched to a man who didn't really do much to prevent or discourage large problems, like a girl who had constantly attacked her classmates and threatened to beat them up on a daily basis. The school never informed parents and their children on what the school was doing, due to confidentiality rules. Luckily that principal left, but the problem still has not been dealt with. (As of the time this was posted) The Baldwin isn't very good at handling problems like this one, but hopefully things change. The fourth and fifth grade teachers are outstanding, and make learning pretty fun. The Baldwin is a school definitely worth trying to get into.

I went to the old school (The Agassiz) and gaduated in 1945. The school was a small two story building with a large playground on th Oxford St. side. The new school looks so modern compaired to previous one. I found this information on my new Smart. Phone. Times have changed and it looks like Cambridge has done a Great Job in building the replacement school. I am 84 years of age and retired in Florida and hsve a lot of time to use my Smart Phone. I have gone to this school my whole life, just ask around it has the best middle school program. 22 7th graders in two classes is also nice. 22 total!

We transferred in from a suburban school, and my son did third grade at the baldwin. They didn't have time to do multipication tables - so that was left for parents to do over the summer. He had about 30% of the homework/school work he had in the suburbs. The diversity is terrific. The education is questionable.
