I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder two decades ago and did not realize the severity of the condition.  I did not understand that if I did not get some form of treatment Bipolar would be in the driver's seat in my life -- and it was.  I didn't want to use my medical insurance, while I had it, for mental health as I did not wish to be branded as "mentally ill".  

When I did NOT have insurance the fees were between $350 and $550 an hour -- what is this, only the rich deserve mental health?

Humbug.

I knew little of the Campus except that our dear Supe Susan Adams was very proud of it - and when my partner and I lost our money and our minds, we heard of it.  They took me in, and the kindness and open-heart of every person in that building blew me away.  Rafael at the front desk is a gem; Judy up there with him also a doll.  And in terms of my own psych doc -- my very own for now psych doc -- Dr. Ciriano Isp?) -- usually these guys can be very full of themselves -- but not him -- if I had PICKED HIM MYSELF I COULD HAVE DONE NO BETTER -- HE IS A++++.

To live in this place and to have lost one's life's savings is rough -- but the services kindly proferred make living in this county in my house of 25 years worth it.
