Located in the heart of downtown Columbia, the Marion Theater has served as an important part of the community for many decades by providing much-needed social activity and entertainment to the area. The theater opened over 75 years ago and has changed hands several times during that period. In November of 2011, the theater was purchased by new owners that have brought the theater back to life.
The Marion has now been completely renovated and upgraded in a variety of ways, including new restrooms, new comfortable seating, new concessions equipment, and new digital projectors with 3D presentation capabilities.
