I really had high hopes for this place, but this was the worst $160 we have ever spent... The waitress was nice but unfortunately that doesn't make up for the delivery of cold food and the overall scarcity in service. This was a Wednesday evening, and the restaurant was mostly empty so there really was no excuse. The seafood in the bowl was overcooked, the Calamari was overcooked & cold, the snapper platter was the best item we were served and it was even missing flavor... oh and the rice was undercooked...
The food presentation was great. The waitress was very helpful and attentive The wait time was ridiculous for the food. Seafood bowl was overcooked The live music was good Brush up on your Spanish if you come here. Pricing is a little higher than most but you are getting live music
Extremely slow service, the quality of my shrimp soup I didn’t think it was worth the money for the taste and the Calamari Fritos was to dry. First and last time …. 2 hours to get a soup , three beers and a calamari frito which didn’t taste good . Expensive place for No reason .
Where do I begin, we arrived, sat down and asked for our drinks they were out of all of the juices so we ended up getting water. Ordered a shrimp cocktail which came in a soupy base with no flavor and cold, bland, dirty shrimp. We ordered two large seafood soups which had pieces fish bone and the pieces of fish we did get were nasty reject rod looking pieces which btw smelled terrible. Now let’s cover the broth, it was bland and full of canned tomatoes and what looked like the ends of bell peppers. Our soups were basically kitchen sink broths. $100. Never coming back to this place. Sweet waitress but disgusting and expensive food. Oh one last thing, they erased all prices off of the menu. Avoid this place!!!!
The food was bland. The wait was long The live music was very interesting The waitress was friendly and accomodating The oysters were good!Food: 3/5
Very Disappointed about the quality of the seafood especially when compared to the prices. They were not super busy but the service was so slow that we had to ask for our appetizer calamari that was clearly up for a while as it was cold when it arrive to the table. The waitress blamed the service issue with there being only 1 chef... but like I said the calamari was luke warm when it arrived to the table. You are served a small complimentary portion of ceviche, but nothing else to help stave of your starvation as you wait over 45min to get your food. When we asked for chips we were told they don't have them. The best thing about this place is the facility and the live mariachi band.
I Really Enjoyed My Visit @ Mariscos. I Went On A Lunch Break, & The Food Was Great. I Plan To Go Back, Several Times, Considering It's Close To My Job. Television Is Available Too. Peace & Blessings To The Staff At Mariscos. - Earnest / Ernesto
My husband and I had a great experience, we wanted to try somewhere different from our usual Mexican spot and Mariscos did not disappoint. The food was delicious and come in large portions so prep yourself, the crab legs fresh and tasty, drinks were well made and strong, but you can ask for less alcohol if you choose to. Our waitress was very professional and courteous. The restaurant is spacious, great ambiance. I'm definitely going back.
I tried this restaurant for the 1st time tonight. It was surprisingly entertaining inside And fun atmosphere. We visited on Saturday night so there was live music as well. We Tried 2 different dishes the pictures are attached . One day she was fish play and the Other was shrimp with a spicy marinade sauce.
I paid $30 for shrimp soup, soda and complementary appetizer before the meal that I had to take to go because they spent over 30 minutes to get my food! Shrimp soup contains over cooked micro shrimp Bell peppers over powering the flavor Some kind of red hot sauce to make it spicy. The cook should find another line of work because this place is only about the looks and not the actual food.
