Some of the tastiest food I’ve had. This place is a must visit in NOLA. This casual grill mixes southern style food with southeast Asian spices and flavours, and is a real treat. The cocktails and organic wines are carefully curated and compiled the food perfectly.
Excellent restaurant, the flavors food and options are incredible! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the appetizers and entrees and desserts were all excellent! Also recommend their cocktails as well! Had a lovely dinner with my girlfriend and we both loved our meals, easily shareable plates too
LOVED!!! went for my friend’s birthday & Marjie’s didn’t disappoint. We were able to try quite a few things on the menu & ate it family style which was nice! We loved the cornbread & ordered it a few times throughout the dinner to share with the table it’s like a decent slice of a pie size.We also got the crab & peaches & bbq pork shoulder. both good, but i loved the crab & peaches!
A fun and exciting blend of flavors! The cornbread- GET IT! It’s some of the best I’ve had- it’s light, not too salty, kinda sweet bc of the sauce drizzled on top and it seems like it was pan fried in a heavenly amount of butter.
A quaint little place that can be mistaken for a home if not for the signboards. This is a Southeast Asian fusion restaurant. We had the Hot Fried Louisiana Catfish and the Crab and Peaches. The Catfish was excellent especially with the Asian inspired saucy thing. The Crab and Peaches wasn't that impressive though.
This place has a really great flow. As soon as we got there there was a appropriate time for us to choose a drink and such. Speaking of the unfiltered sake from wetlands is absolutely amazing. The catfish and the salt and pepper shrimp were top notch starters. A word to the wise you can eat the shrimp whole. The mushrooms and mahi-mahi were truly delicious and the whole atmosphere was really well done and well executed.
Our friends told us to go here saying it was one of the best meals of their lives, it did not disappoint. We sat out in the back patio, nicely decorated, old trees providing shade and lights adding coziness when the sunsets. We ordered a mix of different vegetables, a salad and shared a huge portion of smoked meat. Great wine, cocktail and beer list and top notch service.
Definitely an experience with a very cool, eclectic vibe and great food! Pork knuckles, BBQ Pork Shoulder with Thai dipping sauce, Beef Belly, broccoli and the cornbread were all showstoppers.
Best food stop on this trip. Pork shoulder, crab salad, fried catfish, coal mushrooms, cornbread, shrimp, strawberry cake - split between four people with some apps. Pork shoulder was the favorite and the portion was enough to feed 4.
The food is Viet-Cajun. It is adventurous as well as delicious. We truly enjoyed it. Except for the fried pig knuckles avoid those.
