Story

Since 1982 the dental practice of Mark C Beal, DMD & Associates has been providing top quality dental care to the Boston area. Dr. Beal leads a team of exceptional dentists, including Drs. Danny Chiang, Olympia Karacosta, and Daliah Salem. Everyone on the team is dedicated to the dental health of patients of all ages.

Our practice offers comprehensive general dentistry service, as well as a variety of cosmetic and aesthetic services. Dr. Beal is a certified provider of Invisalign clear aligners. We also keep a periodontist on staff for patients who need special care to maintain healthy gums.

We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.

Mark Beale has been my dentist for over a dozen years (he is also dentist for two adult daughters). Dr.Beale and his staff have taken excellent care of my teeth -- and in the process helped repair damage left over from earlier dentistry. The team is very competent in both preventative and restorative work. And to top it off they are extremely pleasant to deal with. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I never thought I'd say I'd love a dental office, but I'm extremely happy I found this practice. The staff is super positive and helpful, transparent in their procedures, and are upfront about billing questions. I definitely appreciate the effort and attention they give me every appointment, and have recommended this office to multiple coworkers & friends.

The staff is friendly and the service has been great. I would caution people about their price quotes though. I recently had a procedure billed at twice what I was told to expect, maxing out my insurance for the entire year. And just two weeks ago I was told I could pay a bill when I came in and when I went to pay it, I found out a late fee had been applied in that time. Communications around billing docked the rating one star, but otherwise this place is great.

Dr. Beal was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! He didn't do much work, but that's one of the reasons he was fantastic! Instead of jumping right in to do a ton of expensive work, he took a great deal of time and care to hypothesis test and see what was REALLY going on with my teeth. He also explained everything from a medical perspective (from what he was seeing on the x-rays and why, to what he was doing and why, to even what the chemicals were that were being place don my teeth and how they work), which I find is unusually rare with dentists. I have a lot of anxiety about dental appointments and he made me feel better than any other dentist has. I will be back for sure!

Dr. Beal is an amazing dentist. I have been his patient for more than 20 years now. His dental work is always impeccable, extremely durable, and the treatments are practically painless. He is a very intelligent, kind man, and our conversations about classical music (another one of his expertise) or any other topic make the visits go by in a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.
