I walked in and asked for a polish change, and also asked  the price.   They told me I needed  a manicure.  I didn't want or need a manicure.  I wanted a polish change and once again, asked the price.  They told me that it was $10.00.  Then I noticed the sign that indicated it was $8.00.
When I brought it to the attention of the woman who  I was dealing with, 
possibly the owner, she tried to tell me that it was $10.00 because my nail polish needed to be taken off.  Really?   It's was very obvious to me that GRINGAS are  NOT WELCOME HERE!   As the daughter of an immigrant, I love to see immigrants succeed in this country without discriminating.

My sister and I were so pleased with the service we received at Marlen's Beauty Salon.  The hotel we were staying at, the Hyatt Regency at the airport, recommended the salon.  Attentive service that went above and beyond for a reasonable price.

Horrible service ...They only tend to help people of their  nationality...Every time I go. They're. Always give me an escuse...Not to blow dry my hair..They say it's too curly... Wow. That's kind of being prejudice!?  And if it's not flat ironed they won't blow dry it... Really?!
