I moved here from Maine in August and I absolutely love it! Tyler, Meg, Seth, and Bree from the leasing office are very professional, respond quickly, and are easy to get along with. The moving in process was well organized and all the resident's here are very friendly. With the 24 hour gym, year round heated pool, spa room, basketball courts, pool tables, etc...I feel like I'm living in a resort. I live in a two bedroom apartment on the top floor, and it's a very quiet/nice apartment. One of the things I insisted on was a quiet apartment and was anxious about this before moving in, but there has honestly been zero issues with noise. This is one of the few places that offers garage parking for free, and it's in a perfect location. I love being so close to the mall, work (Duke Raleigh), and the airport. I love the free breakfast on Saturday's food trucks, and all the resident events you guys do. So happy I moved here, and highly recommend to anyone searching.

Property manager is useless and you’d think after a pole has been hit so many times that all the paint has been scraped off one side you’d fix it. I don’t even live here but the concrete pole next to the visitor gate makes it impossible to get to around it without hitting it and now I have a scrape across two panels of my car. Tyler came out and was very nice, took pictures, and would see if there was anything they could do. However, after not receiving call back for 3 days, I called them and was told there was nothing they could do because plenty of people who work there with bigger cars than mine go through it every day. Well, yes, I would assume after working there every day you would know better.

Let me update my previous review. After callling Candice out on her numerous offers to let me out of my lease early that has definitely stopped. Seth has also improved. The events that are organized at this apartment complex are great... but I cannot attend any of them because of the racist aura that surrounds this apartment complex. Not only do I have the residents look at ME like I don’t belong but they look at my company and my visitors... if they have any type of melanin in their skin tone... as if they are coming to rob the place. I would love to be able to attend events without being looked that or feeling like I don’t belong but none of these events are of any service to me. Just a few days ago my sister came and she asked me why everybody stared at her so hard. I told her maybe it was because she’s beautiful. She responded with “I felt racism is soon as I entered that gate to the parking deck” and I can’t help but say I feel the same exact thing every time I enter my own parking deck. I have lived here since July and I’ve only experienced one person that lives in the complex actually smiled at me and it was a younger Asian woman. I have had people come into the mail room while I was in there and immediately leave wait for me to exit and then go back in. And I know I don’t stink :) It can be very hard to realize or not is all of these things when you initially look at an apartment complex... but please when you come to view Marshall Park Apartments, take heed to how people react to you and how people look at you!!! This is the place that you have to live for the remainder of your lease unless your skin contains more melanin than the majority of the residents... then Candice may offer you an out on your lease monthly because you don’t belong :)

I LOVE living here! We wanted to move downtown but Seth really sold us on sealing the deal here. Seth was so helpful and friendly, and continues to be. He is very knowledgeable about the apartment complex. Maintenance issues are handled almost immediately. Everyone we have met in the office is super nice and friendly as well. Many awesome residents who have become friends :) Parking in the deck can be a struggle and there is no stair master (can we get one?) in the gym. But overall we love it

Absolutely adore Marshall Park! The decor is wonderful, amenities are abundant, and the staff members are very attentive to your needs for the most part! The only negative aspect of Marshall Park is definitely the price. However the apartments are extremely spacious, most units include an entire laundry room with full sized washer and dryers. Overall, even taking the space into consideration, the one bedroom apartments are a little on the steeper side when it comes to cost effectiveness. Depending on what you're looking for as far as location, Marshall Park is located right on the Greenway, which is one of their main selling points when reflecting the prices of the apartment homes. However other communities near downtown, including on Glenwood South, you can easily find apartment homes with similar prices but with the downtown flair. This is just something I noticed over time. Other than the price, everything else is wonderful! The apartments themselves are extremely sound-proof. You never hear a peep from your neighbors! It's very peaceful with lots of natural light and great decor. All stainless steel appliances as well as granite counter tops are fabulous. There is even a pet wash station, basket ball goal, and bike storage on site! When I said the amenities were great here I wasn't kidding! They also have bicycles for residents to rent and take on the Greenway any time they'd like. Overall, the prices here are a little high for what I personally would like to pay, but if you have the extra cash to spend, it is all worth it due to the amenities, staff kindness, location, etc.
