I enjoyed being able to shop around at my leisure. The racks are sometimes difficult to look through because clothes are out of place and wrong place and I've seen sizes in the wrong place, too. (Nothing I feel like the workers can help. People just put things back where they want). The store associates are friendly and helpful and I enjoy shopping at Marshall's.

I had a great experience today at DXL, Winston-Salem, NC. When I first walked in the welcoming,  well thought out,  exquisitely arranged store, I found it difficult to believe I had not visited it more often. From my entering to my exit I was amazed.  Customer service was exceptional from each and every salesmen.  I will certainly not pass up the opportunity to visit and purchase again.

This Marshall's sucks! The store is almost always a mess!! Clothes always on the floor and thrown over the racks. The clutches are packed so tightly together on the racks that it's hard to sort through them. Layaway takes FOREVER. The bathrooms are usually not maintained and line is always long unless you get there right when the store opens. And oh yeah...the management sucks! If you have an issue about something, you might as well get ready to be upset......

For Christmas, figure you're going to the great retail yard sale in the sky. (Other seasons it's not so wild).  Every kind of merchandise from Lodge cast iron frying pans to Oleg Cassini chrystal humming birds, bras, workout equipment, blue cheese stuffed olives with other exotic foods, more women's shoes than you can count, pot scrubbers, hundreds of scented candles towels, linens, men's pants and shirts, hundreds of picture frames, perfume, cologne  -- all roughly organized into general areas, but staff has a tough time keeping up with the rush.  Wall-to-wall people efficiently checked out with multiple cash-register-by call-number system.  Yes, there are fitting rooms and bathrooms.  Oh, and it really helps to know the regular retail value of the merchandise.
