Nice spot for families. Later in afternoon becomes shaded. Dock to jump into lake. Playground

Beautiful park with easy fishing access and a dock for swimming (netted childrens area with loaner safety vests as well). Can sometimes be busy on very hot days and when the local schools get out a lot off teenagers hang around but it's a beautiful place. Also right next to hotshot coffee that has ice cream and stuff.

We love walking to the lake. It is a a lot of fun of you go a little bit on the early side, then you may beat the rush of afternoon people. The only reason I took a star was because of the insane amounts of trash we have been seeing there. It is very sad to see beer cans in the lake or to be unable to go to certain parts because there's just too much trash. Over all great lake it is beautiful! A little clean up and it is a great place to spend the morning!

Beautiful chilling spot, and a clean swimming hole. It's a good place for BBQ and group games

It has the makings of a good park but there is often litter about and, while alcohol is strictly prohibited, smoking pot and having it proliferate all a over the park and beach with children present is apperently perfectly fine.
