My daughter and I stopped at Martha's Exchange on Saturday for lunch. There was plenty to choose from on the menu, the drinks were delicious and the bartender was very attentive and personal. I would have given them a 5 star review, but there was a person working inside using an air compressor and it was not pleasant to listen to when it was running. The worker politely asked if he was bothering us and I politely responded with we were dealing with it.

We were here 1/25/18 at 8pm. There were 2 other tables having dinner.  I ordered the stuffed chicken gorgonzola which was wrapped with bacon. I sent it back the first time because the chicken was raw. They made another which curiously had a sauce covering the bacon.  I cut into it and the chicken this time seemed to be cooked,  but after putting it in my mouth I felt an awful chewy sticky feeling in my mouth.  I removed it and discovered it was the bacon -- all of the bacon was RAW! Had the bacon not been covered with the sauce, I would not have put ANY of this in my mouth as it was white and opaque like it is in the package before it gets cooked! I asked the waitress (who felt awful) if I could speak with the manager.  She said the manager was the cook! I hope I don't get sick.  My recommendation is to absolutely AVOID Martha's Exchange.

The beer was very good.  The service was excellent.  The appetizer was meh.  Overall not a bad experience.  Would go back.

All of their beers are amazing. None are sickly sweet, ever the scotch ale. The food is great and the staff are polite and talkative. There is a fantastic chocolate shop inside that has just about everything a lover of chocolate could dream of.

Outstanding service. First time in this area and at this restaurant. We were worried about the meter parking but was told if we received a ticket the owner would pay the few. Beer and sangria was amazing and so was the food! Will be traveling the two hours again just for this place!! Highly recommend.
