Martin did a phenomenal job of helping me to understand what was going to happen as well as explaining what occurred after our hearing and the ALJ's decision. He was very calm and competent in the courtroom which was a huge benefit to me. I highly recommend him.

I am not too happy or impressed.  I feel I did most of the research and gathering of significant documents which the judge quoted in my decision.  According to the billing log Mr. Cohen submitted to the judge, Mr. Cohen did not review my files until less than two weeks before my hearing, even though he had been my attorney for five months. In addition he mailed time-sensitive documents to my old address even seven months after my move.  I believe Mr. Cohen has significant experience, but I am convinced that is insufficient to win, winning requires the research and documents and letters from doctors and former employers; documents which were important to the judge.  I wish I had trusted my abilities more and put less time and faith in having an attorney who would invest time and energy in my survival. Months after my successful hearing I obtained a second statement from Mr. Cohen which clearly showed that 50% of his billable hours were actually attributed to his office assistants. Definitely unhappy.

We were referred to Martin Cohen by another friend that had used him.  He did a phenominal job for our friend and he did the same for us.  This is a complicated part of the law and Martin knows it very well.
