Only been in town four days. I was doing some exploring and had a taste for fried chicken. The fries are superb crunchy and crisp. that Mac and cheese reminded me of my grandma's. String beans piping hot and that fried chicken wasn't as mind blowing as the Mac and cheese but definitely good fried chicken.

I had the small plate bbq, collard greens, Cole slaw and sweet potatoes and sweet tea and hush puppies. It was delicious. At least 10 yrs since I have been back to NC and this is a first for me and it was delicious and plenty of food!  So good!

The food is simply flavoring. That means very good. Not over season. Just when my day wasn't so great. Mis Peggy stole my heart. She made me feel appreciated.

Super long lines, but worth the wait. The food is very good. I like that you get a good amount of food for a decent price.

Excellent eastern NC style whole hog bbq at it's best.  Reminds me of Bills BBQ back in the 80's.  Also must try: fried chicken and banana pudding.  Classic eastern North Carolina BBQ

Average ... Line for the food are deceiving.  Pork chops little and dry.  Greens are just stems.  Mac and cheese were okay ... Yams felt out of can and kinda blah.  Fried chicken is done well.  Potatoes Salad really nice.

Marty's BBQ is one of, if not the best, barbecue places in Wilson, North Carolina. The long lines speak for themselves. Never had anything to complain about except the long lines. The food is excellent and the prices are moderate. Never left there hungry.

Small but busy. Food was delicious, staff was friendly and courteous. BBQ and chicken and pastry were on point! The drive thru line wraps around the building! Well worth the wait!

Drive thru line was long and moved very slowly.   Food was still hot when we got  home. Chicken livers were  excellent.  Other food was good.   Will definitely go backm
