My daughter has attended Marvin Wright for almost 2 years now, and we LOVE OUR school! She had a PHENOMENAL Kindergarten teacher last year, Ms Scoggin, who we absolutely adore! This year she has another great teacher, Ms Slusher, and both of these amazing teachers not only TEACH them at the same leave as Wil Co schools, but they also LOVE them! Ms Massey, the Principal, also LOVES all the students, and knows almost all of them by name, but she also takes your concerns and comments to heart! Having had experience in both Williamson Co and Maury Co schools in Spring Hill, this school is JUST AS GOOD as Wil Co schools!

Don't waste your time sending your kids to this school. The teachers are no good. If you move to Spring Hill make sure you are on the Williamson County side. Maury County Schools are no good at all. Spring Hill needs to address the issue of us as parents paying the same amount as Williamson County but our kids are not receiving the same education. My kids were going to Allendale which is a wonderful school but when we moved to The Grand Reserves they lied to us saying we would still be in Williamson County. It is a lot of shady things going on in Spring Hill that needs to be addressed including housing, school, etc..

Moved from out of state. School ranked higher than our former (and fantastic) school. Couldn't be more disappointed. CONS - Found that Maury County doesn't have a full time nurse on staff at their elementary schools.....We were called to pick our son up twice within his first 2 weeks, both times was because a nurse was not there to determine the severity of his injuries. He has sever insect allergies and asthma and now I'm extremely uncomfortable about him being there. -Also, Maury County doesn't have a music program, a Native American education program, or even any type of Accelerate Reading program to test my child's level of reading. -Found several of the staff members to be very unfriendly and unhelpful. They even tried to put my son on a bus and put a different kid (same first name as my kid) in my car!!! Luckily, the bus hadn't left yet. The other poor kid looked terrified...hope he told his mom! The last names are on the car rider sign.... -They seem..behind? The words my 2nd grader is working on, he did in Kindergarten at old school. Also, no advanced classes....He is getting bored already. PROS - School traffic flows and moves well, and doesn't block the other traffic. -Dress code....I love this, for so many reasons. I do however wish it were more lax on picture days. Can't they be allowed to change for photos? -I like their "specials" days. I know exactly what day he will have gym, and which day will be computer, library, etc. -Parent/Teacher conferences are late enough in the evening to make it without cutting into work too much.
