The Cultural Arts Center provides high quality arts and cultural education for affordable pricing to Norwalk residents and the surrounding community. Organized by the City of Norwalk Recreation and Park Services Department, the CAC hosts a variety of classes for all ages, including li'l munchkins (ages 1-2), tots (ages 3-5), youth (ages 6-12), teens (ages 13-17), and adults (ages 18 & older). Music classes in violin, vocals, piano/keyboarding, and mariachi are available to the youth as well.
In addition to classes, which change quarterly, the CAC offers special events including, Open Mic Night and Brush Strokes & Beverages. The Mary Paxon Art Gallery is housed within the CAC and exhibits a new artist and artist reception each month.
Recreation and Park Services is dedicated to providing a healthy community through an integrated system of Parks, Open Space, Recreation, Cultural, and Human Services Programs.
