Great park with tons of variety . Great trails to walk your dog and the dog park is great and large. Great for families and kids to go down to the river in the summer. Parking is easy and free as long as it's not soccer season . Make sure to have your dog on a leash though if you are not in the dog park. I see a cop every time patrolling making sure. West Linn has intense leash laws.

Mary S. Young is a gorgeous park.  The trails access the shoreline, and there are seasonal islands that are accessible in summer.  In spring there are all kinds of wildflowers, from trilliums to currants.  The trails are mostly easy, with a few challenging steeper areas as the land drops to the river.

Near the parking lot at the top is ample fields for playing sports or your dog too.  I believe there is also play equipment for the kids.

A great place for running, walking a dog or with a stroller. Lots of trails to choose from and 2 easily accessible bathrooms. Beautiful wooded trails and a view of the river from the lower part of the park. Lots of benches to stop at along the way.

I run there for Cross Country all the time and there is a super good course that you can run. We also ran our Meet there and it worked out really well. Got a PR there too.

Dogs and people love this park for its well-maintained dirt foot paths (and a wide main paved path) in dense wooded forest leading down along the Wilamette River. Beautiful light in mid-morning and early evening. Also, huge open grass area where dogs can run and play off leash. Doggie heaven 🐶👍
