Islamic House of Worship
Masjid As-Salaamah is an Islamic mosque serving the Muslim community in Columbus and the surrounding communities of central Ohio. The Masjid was first established in 2008 by group using a rental facility. In February of 2010, a new board of directors undertook the responsibilities of the Masjid, including a plan to buy a building. In addition, the board incorporated the new organization under the name of Masjid As-Salaamah Inc.
The mission of Masjid As-Salaamah Inc. is to establish a mosque that follows the Qur’an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) according to the understanding of the Salafu-Salih (Pious Predecessors).
