If i can rate a negative star, i would be happy to do it. Unfortunately, i don't even know if they have the right number of people to process the application. They probably thinking that people applying for license have flexibility but to be honest with you, there are number of people who badly needed their license for job/promotion. Your office is technically the bottleneck of someone's progress just so you are aware. This is not just a paper document that you process and just provide to someone way to make progress in their career.
I am experiencing the same issue as mentioned in the other reviews I have been reaching out for a couple months . I have sent five emails and was told early on it was being looked into but have not received any updates since my initial email. Sent three additional emails and no response. I submitted my application on time asking with payment and my status is showing as expired. The status of my application states “ready to print” and I haven’t received any correspondence. Very frustrating.
Fran the male in-charge is horrible as well as their "technical service" -wasted 2 hours with person who didn't actually use the system spent another hour on hold and got FRAN the LEADER of the "tech support". He is an angry guy who is not helpful bc he doesn't listen to the issues especially when it does not work the way he stated it should. His TEAM gets the same rude person as their leader, and told me they are not updated or trained to answer "Technical Questions " just walk you through the website, they cannot address "technical" issues which is the number listed for such a problem. Fran got made because his answer was incorrect and didn't work .. so he just HANGS UP, how convenient he cans do so and unprofessional. He should be FIRED.
My application has been in since May 2020 without any updates. I sent at least 5 emails with zero response and no one picks up the phone. Oh, they took my money upfront, of course. They were difficult to deal with even before and the outbreak made it impossible. No accountability at all.
To echo other reviews, the response time is abhorrently slow. I submitted a CPA renewal application and followed up after a couple weeks since I hadn't heard back- I spoke with someone on a Friday who said they would let me know the status of my application by "Monday at the latest." Four months, dozens of missed phone calls, and multiple emails later, I still haven't heard back. This office is truly pathetic.
Not responsive, waited over 6 weeks for my CPA license and it was approved after calling several times and finally getting a hold of someone. Voicemails and emails are not being returned. I am trying to get a Certificate by Regulatory Board and again no response after 6 weeks, mailbox is full. Why are the fees so high if this department isn’t being serviced?
Unfortunately entitles like these are why a lot of people have lost faith in government. Either the few people who work here are overworked or they don't work at all. Either way it reflects very poorly on the state and is very frustrating for people trying to get their questions answered in a timely manner.
I don't think anyone works here. I've called several times regarding an urgent issue and am yet to speak to a real person. Instead I've been redirected to an automated mailbox that's full. I'm incredibly disappointed in the service, or lack thereof, that I've received. Truly disappointing.
I called in asking for more information about work requirements and the moment the woman picked up the phone all I heard was disdain in her voice. It was the worst experience I have ever had on the phone with someone at a time when I should be excited for passing my exams. I ending up being the one to apologize for wasting the woman's time. Ending up with zero answers other than check the application form.
Terribly unresponsive and not at all timely. For a board that certifies people whose jobs demand timeliness and accuracy that seems kind of sad. They don't answer the phones or respond to messages or emails.
