I arrived at the S Yarmouth RMV on a Wed afternoon after 2:00 pm. A friendly person greeted me at the door, asked what I needed and directed me to proceed to desk 1 where another friendly and helpful person examined my paperwork and gave me a number. I noticed that there were customer service staff at ten desks. Twenty minutes later, I was back at desk 1 and my issues were quickly resolved with a smile. Thank you for your timely assistance.

I was prepared for the worst. I got through the line very quickly. My seated wait was about 25 minutes, but they got through a lot of people during that time. There was ample staff on. Everyone was very polite. Thank you for changing my perception of the RMV!

The wait time is abhorrent and the driving instructors are insistently rude. Don't take the road test until "Fail Gail" is gone. 99% of the people that fail their road test is due to this instructor.

The least competent RMV office int the state The wait times on the RMV website are complete lie, because it said 20 minutes, but the line to even get the ticket that the wait time was measured on was over a dozen people long and took an hour itself. What I expected to be a 40 minute trip max took about 2 hours because of their dishonesty. They have a massive waiting room with lots of seating, but they make you stand in line to be personally helped by someone who doesn't know what they're doing just to get a ticket # before you can even sit down.

DONT TAKE THE ROAD TEST HERE.....I took my test there and out of the 3 of us fail Gail failed us all and the other 2 in my group for the second time for taking our turns too sharp even tho I stayed in my lane and didnt fail anything else still failed because the turn was "too sharp"......She marked me for traffic light violation even tho when I went through the light it was green and only turned yellow after I was in the middle of the intersection.....Im sorry let me stop in the middle of the intersection
