Massage Envy is a solid value. Personally, I've been a member since 2010. I'd recommend the 7-Hi location in Minnetonka which is my go-to these days. I'd also recommend my former home base location at Streeterville in Chicago. Both have solid customer service and qualified therapists. If you're unfamiliar with the Massage Envy concept, here are the key points: 1) Members get access to a national network. I've gone to Massage Envy locations across the country. 2) Can locations be hit or miss? Sure. The range can go from okay to excellent. The key is to find a couple massage therapists at your local location and request him/her every time. You may have to go through a few therapists before you find the ones that are right for you. 3) For a low membership fee, you get one 1-hour massage per month which rolls over if not used and never expire 4) You can even gift prepaid massages which I've done on a number of occasions for friends/family. Very bad experience. The person on the call always kept me on hold for more than 10 minutes several times. Miss spelled name and did not seem friendly.

Ridiculous Membership Contract.  This seems like a nice place at first.  My wife convinced me to go get a massage using one of her 'free' massages.  It must have made me stupid because I signed up for their 12 month membership at a reduced rate of $50 a month.

After 2 months of not going in, I realized I needed to cancel my membership, only to be told that you simply cannot cancel it until the 12 months have passed.  wtf??  Even cell phone companies let you cancel -- they charge a fee -- but they've also paid the bulk of the cost of the phone.  

Anyway - stay away from this place and find a spa that sells massages, and not try to sell you into a shady contract.
