Of the three trips that I've sailed through the Keys from Fort Myers to Miami, I stopped at Matheson Hammock twice. Each time I have stopped they have been very accommodating for our then Grand Banks 42 Trawler. They have plenty of room for larger boats, as well day use ramps for trailerable boats. The fuel dock is easy to get in and out of, and the staff are experts at handling the lines. Thanks!

I don’t recommend this place for swimming. The lagoon doesn’t get good water circulation. But the view is amazing. Great area to bike ride or kayak from. If you go in car, you’ll be charged $5 for parking.

Good convenient bait shop. They don't sell live bait so I took a star off,  but the have a good selection of frozen options.
