What a great find. A friend mentioned this place so we tried it out for a happy hour. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the staff was great! The menu is really fun and we both decided we want to come again and try more. The beer selection is very good. We had the Chicken Lollipops legs that were smoked and wrapped in bacon and then glazed - fantastic! We then split a smoked triple-tip sandwich - the meat was done perfectly and the roll was an Acme Bakery item. I thin would be a great place to come in the warm weather with all of the outside seating.
Loved this place, first time and will definitelybe back, the food was delicious big portions! Great service aswell. The smoke drumsticks are huge! A little salty but delicious best with chimichurri! Next time we'll stop by without the kiddos so we can try the beer. Highly recommended!
Had the Boss Hog Sandwich and it was…good. But the smoked drumsticks are fire! So good. A bit of spice, but not too much. Smokey. Crispy on the outside…juicy on the inside. Delicious!
Unique food and menu. I never thought Fritos could be a great addition to food. It passed the taste test. The service was awesome and the place is fun.
So happy we tried this place! Limited menu which I think makes the food really good and really fresh. I’m not a beer drinker so I can’t speak on that subject. I tried the Boss Hog sandwich - delish! Excellent flavor. Bread was perfect and didn’t suffocate the whole thing. Pork had a smokey herb flavor like I had never tasted, but plan to have again. My friends ordered the Santa Maria Tri Tip and Smoked Club and raved about their sandwiches. We also had the Chicken Lollipops; OMG! Heaven on a stick…or bone. I saw a couple of the salads and will definitely be trying one of those. The dressings are all house made and very tasty. I recommend the blue cheese vinaigrette. Ranch was good too. Atmosphere is fun and open, esp in the warmer months when they can open the rolling doors. Your mouth will be happy you stopped in!
Terrific pork loin sandwich on an amazing ciabatta roll. You will not be disappointed! Well curated selection of beers - I highly recommend the Payette hazy IPA. Excellent and friendly service.
Nice clean place. Good selection of beers, wine and food. I had the smoked chicken drummies and mini baked potatoes from the appetizer menu. They were both good, nice smoked flavor. They have a happy hour on both select appetizers and drink specials. Staff was friendly and attentive. Beer and wine only, no liquor license.

Fantastic spot. Stumbled across this place while visiting Boise for work and oh what a find! Eclectic tap list with really great prices and 22oz pours. Food was outstanding. The smoked drumsticks pack a ton of flavor with the perfect slow burn finish. Tri-tip sandwich was top notch as well. Friendly staff and a nice vibe overall.
What are you waiting for Boise?! Matlack's knocked it out of the park. Best lunch Ive had in town, hands down. The smoked chicken club was the best sandwich Ive ever had. The mac n cheese and the smoked chicken lollipops were perfect starters. Don't forget all the great beers on tap and the EXCELLENT service. Get over here Boise and get your lunch on!
