Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and top notch service! Always a fun time with family and friends. Great bar scene as well. Overall one of my favorite restaurants on Long Island. 10/10!

the restaurant was a really nice setting and you are greeted nicely when you walk in. The food is very good but I personally don't like ordering a main dish when it does come with any sides. the best part of the dinner was the waiter, Guernio , He was overly friendly and accommodating. He explained the various prices and sizes to us ahead of time. When we left he shook our hands and said he hopes we come back again. When we return we will ask for our waiter again.

Matteos is a family restaurant serving family style. The food is a good value to portion ratio however the food is just ok. The prices are fair and that is what saves the food. The restaurant it's self is nice and the decor is newly updated. All in all an average restaurant.

I have dined at Matteo's twice recently and both visits were excellent! The service was fabulous and the waiter/waitress (Nicholette) was very knowledgeable about every dish on the menu. Her suggestions were right on! The setting and ambiance were perfect with wonderful, live background piano music! The food was an amazing culinary experience from appetizer to dessert! I will recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family!

Food is always first class and highest quality. Staff goes out of their way to make sure your meal was exactly as expected. Ambiance and décor is warm and smart having recently been redecorated. Others have written negative review that I just don't understand or agree with. I have enjoyed at least 6 meals there in the last 3-4 months. Don't take my word, try it yourself.
