Came in today to purchase my first mattress in a decade and left with the Ashaway Pl mattress. Tom gave thorough descriptions of every item we looked at and gave me a fantastic deal on the mattress, box spring, and delivery. Larry was also very helpful and was happy to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Hi. I spoke with Beverly about a memory foam mattress for my dad. She provided all the information that I needed to decide to buy this mattress. I came back and spoke with Mark and bought the mattress for my Dad and set-up delivery of the mattress. It's my dad's birthday tomorrow. I'm sure he will be very pleased with the mattress.

My wife and I decided to stop in the Mattress Firm clearance store while shopping for unrelated items next door. We were quickly impressed with the knowledge of the salesman Nikita Popou. We explained that we were thinking about a new mattress and would not be interested in buying that day. He said that wasn’t a problem and was happy to help us find a mattress to suit our needs. We were in there for a while and tested quite a few mattresses Nik was very knowledgeable on the products and also very knowledgeable with shady sales techniques. He asked if we could sit down and see if we could figure out a deal. I said that wouldn’t be a problem, but we still don’t have an interest in buying one today. He still said that’s not a problem, he just wanted to “hook us up.” He also explained this would only be a soft inquiry on our credit history. We gave him our information under the impression that we were getting an INQUIRY. He gave us our price, not in a TOTAL amount, instead by what the monthly payment would be. I said I’m not interested in a monthly payment, what is the full amount. Amazingly enough, the amount came out to be about $100 more than what we were approved for. We told him that we had other things to do and he acted like he was hurt. His specific words were, “I’m a little confused? Most people hear that their mattress payment will be less than their phone bill and they jump on it?” I told him that’s what’s wrong with most people, they live their live based off of how many payments they can afford per month and get themselves in a bind when an emergency pops up. This kind of reminds me of the Kirby vacuum sales techniques although not as extreme. He asked if we would be interested in a cheaper mattress, so I said it would be more appealing, however we were still not going to buy that day. About 30 minutes after we left, I got a text saying that he found one in inventory and we should go check it out. We left with a decent experience, even the poor sales tactics weren’t enough to give a one star review until my wife came home a couple weeks later with 2 mattress firm credit cards with a letter stating the amounts we were approved for. Remember when Nik said, “It will only be a soft inquiry?” Yeah someone has some explaining to do. I’m not sure how you only have a soft inquiry and still get approved for a credit card. That was a blatant lie, and I hate liars. Even after I told him I was not planning on buying AND that I would like to pay in cash, he signed me up for a credit card. He’s lucky we had just finished buying our home and weren’t affected by the card. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to let this one go. I will never step foot in a mattress firm or any related company again.

Nikita Popov and Kelly Chambers were patient and helped us find the right mattress. There was no pressure and spent quality time figuring out what would fit in our budget and get the best nights rest. This is by far the best experience we have had mattress shopping. Thanl you guys!!!

Excellent shopping experience BOTH times! We were able to find exactly what we were looking for. Prices are great. Service is awesome. And product quality can't be beat. Highly recommend this location!
