Matu is phenomenal at what she does! Her staff members are equally phenomenal! The atmosphere is very friendly and feels like home! They are like family! I’ve been coming to Matu for years now and I am always satisfied with how my hair comes out! They move quickly so at any time there may be 2 to 3 stylist on your head which I love! My braids are always beautiful, long and the same size! I get compliments every where I go!!! Not only does she offer the latest hair style trends, but she also offers a variety of natural hair products that have me refusing to purchase hair care from anyone else but her!! I would recommend Matu to any and everyone! Her prices are very reasonable!! You are paying for quality and quality is most certainly what you will receive !!!!

We came here on a wing and a prayer being that any and everybody think they can braid but Matu and her ladies are the real deal. They have my done my 9 y.o daughter's hair twice and both times the results are amazing!!! The styles last a long time and they treat all the little girls like little queens. This is our new favorite place!!

Matu and her staff are very professional and do AMAZING work.  I have been coming here since 2007 for all of my sew-in and braiding needs, and now travel an hour for these services.  I have never had a bad experience.  Come see her...you won't be disappointed!

I’ve been getting my hair braided here for a year now and I absolutely love this place. The climate and environment is amazing and I really enjoy the relaxing music that they play. The owner is really professional and sweet as she often asks if everything is ok. In addition, they are extremely flexible as I’ve called and they’ve worked into the following day’s appointments. This shop came highly recommended and I always recommend it as well.

Very friendly atmosphere, the owner was very cordial and professional. Took girls in on a Saturday morning to get box braids, was extremely busy, but they love there hair. They also use and sale some amazing authentic shea butter that’s awesome, the owner brings it from Africa. Will definitely be back.
