My probation officer had violated me for the 3rd time. I was so worried of going back to jail that I decided to hire an attorney which was a process in itself but thankfully I found Ms.Balwin. From the beginning she made me feel comfortable. At my violation hearing the probation department recommended a 16 month sentence. Mind you, all of my violations had been technical which means no new charges. I was so confused and in misbelief but ms.baldwin kept me from getting remanded. A month later at sentencing she was able to get my probation reinstated with absolutely NO jail time!! Usually three violations look horrible and they did but she was able to show the judge all the positive things I was doing in life and the community. Thank you Ms.Baldwin for keeping me out and allowing me to support my family

I've known Maureen for a few years now and I've had many conversations about  Criminal Law in San Jose. She has been very helpful to my understanding of the Criminal Code and I would not hesitate to refer a case to her. If you get in trouble call Maureen Baldwin.

I was charged with sexually molesting my step-daughter years ago.  I was innocent and wanted to fight all the charges.  Unfortunately, I was convicted the first time, but a court-appointed appellate lawyer got my case reversed on appeal because I was not given a fair trial the first time.  The District Attorney decided to re-try my case.  Fortunately, Maureen Baldwin was my lawyer this time.  A lot of investigation as well as pretrial motions were required. There were very serious immigration issues in addition to the criminal case. As a result of the hard work of my attorney as well as the appellate attorney before her, the prosecution dismissed the case. Ms. Baldwin spent time I needed in explaining my options, both to me and to my family. I was very happy with her representation.

I contacted Maureen Baldwin to ask her about an arrest that my friend had just gone through. He couldn't call her himself. She was very nice and answered my questions without one time asking me for any money. She got him out of jail and got his case dismissed. Very good lawyer...
