My wife and I have both used Mavis in Ossining a few times.  It is a little busy because the service is very good.  I recommend it and the fish place next door is perfect for me.  Drop the car.  Eat lunch. Get the car.

This was originally going to be an extremely negative review. My initial experience was absolutely terrible and the service technicians had proven themselves to be entirely incompetent. However, I just left feeling great and definitely willing to give them another try and that is for only ONE reason. Chris, appeared to be the manager on staff at the time, was professional, understanding and above all sincere. He genuinely apologized for my experience and said he always thinks about how he would feel if he were on the other side of the counter which is exactly the kind of attitude that was lacking from every other person on staff. I don't know who owns this place but I guarantee the ONLY reason they still have customers is because of Chris and they should be extremely grateful.

I made an appointment to have my car inspected.  I should have been wary when the guy who spoke to me said "we'll see what we can do", but I figured I have an appointment so I'm all set.  I show up for my appointment (after rescheduling myself to make the appointment) only to be told that "the guy who has the "card" took it home with him so we can't do your inspection."  No idea what the "card" is, and no explanation.  I ask, "when will he be in?"  Answer "we don't know".  How the hell do you run a business like this?!!!!  No word of apology, no solution, NOTHING.
