Great food and lovely staff. I had a pork vindaloo and it could have come straight from an authentic Indian restaurant. After the meal I asked about the sauce they used and the chef came out to give me the recipe! I'll be back for more.

Our family loves Max and Irma's! Steve's infectious enthusiasm for anything food shows in his creative menu. Wood-oven smoked and slow-roasted meats, house-made sauces and chutneys and the best wood-oven pizza in town ... The smoked meatballs and desserts are to die for. Great ethnic nights and wonderful service! Highly recommended!

By far THE best place to eat in Nelson! Everything is made from scratch and the staff is very friendly. I have never had one bad meal there! Amazing!

Best birthday dinner ever.  The food was 5 star. The desert was 10 star.  Everyone I have ever taken absolutely loves it.  Never disappointed. Can't say that about many places I have eaten at.
