My first time having Maxie's was great! I had the chicken parmesan sandwich and I loved it.

Maxie's Deli is an iconic Rutland deli known for its very generously made subs. Everything here is fresh, fresh, fresh!  The rolls are fresh every day from a local bakery, the meats and veggies are sliced just minutes or an hour or two ahead of need, never days in advance. The croutons for their salads are made in the store from day old rolls and are the best I've ever had. The hot oil dressing is store made too and so yummy!  Try a Caesar or Tuscan chicken salad with store cooked chicken breast!    Absolutely the best salad in Town!
