With the caveat that I have only been here to drink I do like this place.

They have a decent alcohol selection covering all aspects.  The decor and ambience is very nice and well thought out.  And the staff is rather pleasant and can be open to chat, if you're not an arse, when they are slow.

I should eat here some day.

I had the French onion soup and mixed green salad. Did not have a problem with the food I had ordered it  was good. But I did have a problem watching every worker at the bread bar slice bread with there bare hands. Bread is a ready to serve item. Gloves should be worn when cutting this item. 
Also I think the waitress could of been a little friendlier. Maybe a small smile and a nicer voice. She seemed very rude and not at all friendly.

Stellar performance this evening. I took my high school coach to dinner. A guy who I appreciate and owe quite a bit to.  It did not disappoint. Cocktails were excellent. Baked oysters and soup for appetizer were very nice. His salmon was very appetizing and my roast duck was as good as I've had anywhere at anytime. The vanilla Tahiti ice cream was a pleasant way to end our meal. I am looking forward to returning with my family.

My husband and I have been here for brunch and enjoyed it, but this was our first dinner experience.  I had the pork shank and my husband had the halibut special. Our meals were superb.  My pork was so tender it fell off the bone. I could have made a meal out of the brussel sprouts - they were that good.  With a new restaurant opening across the street it was empty and I hope it is not a sign of the times.  It would be a shame to let this place go.  Support Maxims! Oh and our service was excellent.

When i promised my wife lunch in France she may have had another experience in mind, however, as we finished our after lunch appertifs she was certainly not disappointed. Fois gras, roasted preach salad, heirloom tomatoes with crab meat, and streak tips in homemade mac and cheese may have done the trick.   Coupled with terrific service and wonderful jazz playing as background music and voila Easton was transformed before our eyes.   Highly recommend it!
