We were traveling and our youngest daughter needed to be seen by urgent care. I called while driving, and the phone was answered by a real person - not an automated service which is unheard of these days. The receptionist was so wonderful - took our insurance info over phone which made for faster check-in. Scheduled an appointment for us, which was moved up once we actually arrived at the clinic. The nurses were so pleasant and even gave snacks to our girls! We had to visit the pharmacy on the way out and it was one of our quickest waits for meds of anywhere. While we hope to never need to visit again, we would gladly do so. Everyone was so kind & pleasant and accommodating to us.

Completely ridiculous and unreasonable. Tried to make an appointment today and was told if we needed to see a doctor within a couple weeks our only option was the ER. Last time I was in the ER we were there for 7 hours waiting and we all know what that costs just to walk in the door. Cost me over 700 for a Dr to give me a prescription I already knew I needed. Completely wasteful and costly. Save your time and money and go to Mercy.

Mayo has become a greedy Monopoly of healthcare and should be stripped of their non-profit status..

Mayo in Albert Lea is very nice. The people are great and helpful. The facility itself is not as equipped as the Rochester buildings (of course) so sometimes you're referred to the doctors there, but that's usually for major things or difficult to figure out symptoms.
Other than, I like it!
