Had an assortment of tacos from the food truck. The Bistec taco wasn’t very flavorful and since they only had red sauce, I requested mild sauce. There wasn’t much of a kick or wow factor in these tacos. I had requested a green sauce, but they didn’t have it. Usually establishment provides an assortment of sauces with tacos-for my five taco-I only got one container/ one flavor. Also ordered 3 Al Pastor tacos-interesting that the taco had beans on it, again, not very flavorful. I saved a taco for the next morning, hoping that all the spices and seasoning had time to blend more and it was still a little flat for my taste. All in all, the meal was hearty, but it didn’t tingle my taste buds. This area has many food trucks - I will of course make my rounds. Looking forward to visiting the pizza truck and hunting down which truck has those delicious looking hot wings someone posted in Zocale.
This was my first time visiting this truck. It's worth the hype. The owner is cool... The al pastor might be the best in the city. Someone direct me elsewhere if I'm wrong... always in the hunt for that... its a nice space in the zocalo area... will definitely be back. The tacos: amazing. We ordered 2 of each non vegetarian taco. The chicken, birria, and el pastor were so good. The service: has room for improvement. I get that it's a taco truck but I left to wait for my order wondering if I'd done something to offend our order taker. Also, we were clearly two people and we ordered 2 of each taco. It would have been nice if the two boxes of tacos we received had been thoughtfully arranged to facilitate what we were attempting to achieve - a sample pack in each box. It was easy enough to eat a taco and then jostle them around. But on a chill midweek early evening a little thoughtfulness goes a long way.
My husband and I tried Mazorcas after reading reviews off of a website. We ordered 6 Birria, 6 Al Pastor, and 5 Asada. We will not be going to this taco place ever again. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is because we didn't get sick from the food and we were able to eat them; they just were not all that good. If you're drunk you won't notice how unauthentic these tacos really are. There is a place at the Park that sells Churros they are a must have.
They have a Vegan Taco right on their menu - it SAYS Vegan Taco! Do you know how many food trucks use the word "vegan" on their menu signage? Not many, that's how many. It's often very hard to find vegan food in the food truck industry here in Milwaukee, so whenever I find a food truck that not only offers vegan food, but has the guts to put that on their menu for everyone to see, I eat there. You may disagree with me, but from what the food truck vendors tell me when I ask about vegan offerings, their response is that they don't have enough room in their truck to make vegan food because space is at a premium and they need to use that space to make items that will sell...and vegan food isn't that big of a seller here...yet. You just wait all you food trucks that are short-sighted! Anyway, the vegan tacos were delicious and the hot sauce they served with it was super hot and also delicious. I wish the tacos were a bit larger, but for the price, two of them make a nice appetizer, not a meal. Pair it with a beer from Zocalo and if you weigh 105 lbs. like me, you'll feel nice and full.
I personally think their tacos aren’t good. However, my child likes them for some reason. Every time I get food here they are rude. The order is wrong. I ask for salsa when I order the food, when I pick up the order I ask if the salsa is inside the bag and they say it is inside. Mind you, I have one broken ankle and sprained ankle so it’s hard for me to ruffle thru the bag until I’m at the table. Even after they confirm it’s inside the bag, not once has it been inside. Not just on one occurrence but several.
We love it. Always great and fresh tasting. Never have had a bad experience. Why spend money on the fast food down the block when you can come here spend less and get wayyyy better food. One of the best taco stand in Milwaukee. Go try it if you haven't yet.
Delectable. THE tacos your looking for. We tried each of them and the pastor was our favorite. I would call the tacos "normal" sized which meant I could easily polish off four of them. I overheard the trailer is moving to another location but I failed to ask where that location is. Today is the 22nd of June 2019. I look forward to eating here again.
Best tacos in The Milwaukee area. The Al Pastor porkis highly recommend. Tortillas are made by hand and fresh on site. They also have vegan and vegetarian tacos if meat is not in your diet.
Found this trailer on the corner, slinging top notch tacos close to a brewery I was visiting. There are 4-5 options veg option included which creates a focus on quality and consistency. The setup is pretty down to earth. Walk up. Order. Eat. There is one table and 2 chairs with a funny story about why it’s reserved. Ask about it if you visit. I won’t ruin it for you.
