"I just wanted to let you know that the table arrived safely last Friday - I must admit I have not yet opened the box to check out its condition, because as soon as it arrived I came down with the flu and have been down for the count ever since.

But I wanted to let you know I received it and to thank you for everything you did to get it to me. Other than my bicycle, it's probably the single most important possession I shipped and to have it safely with me and to know that I can finally start to work again is such a relief.

So thank you again for everything. It’s so rare to feel like the voice on the other end of the phone belongs to a person who actually cares about what they're doing. But I felt that from you and I am grateful - and now even have a little more hope for our humanity, actually. Silly as that may sound. It’s true.
