Worst insurance company I've ever used. When canceling insurance you have to go in person and sign which is inconvenient but that's the policy so I understand. What I don't understand is how the people working in the office can give you incorrect information and argue with you and not have a clue what they are talking about. While canceling I ask if the money would directly be returned to my account or if it would be sent by check. She tells me I wouldn't get money back. I explained that what was coming out today covered from today 5/9 to next month 6/9 which since I am canceling will not be used. She said that what comes out today covered the month prior. I told her that's incorrect and that you pay insurance in advance which is why you pay up front when getting new insurance or renewing. Her advice for me was to remove money from my account so they couldn't take it out... (my concern wasn't that it was coming out, it was that she claimed it wouldnt be returned) I'm shocked this advice would be given to people. Way to help people overdraft their accounts. I called Safeway which is what they use and confirmed all they told me was incorrect and my money would be returned. Giving people incorrect information like this without double checking is ridiculous. The same lady also called me a liar when I mentioned how it was inconvenient to have to come sign for some people and she claimed all insurance companies do this. I told her they don't all do this and she told me I was lying. Avoid this place at all cost. We are now state farm covered!
