Called to inquire about a turtle, girl who answered was very rude, and explained that what I was looking for didn’t exist!!  She then told me the closet thing she had was going to be $100, more than I could afford.  WTH, what do you know about what I am willing to spend.

Can I do like negative 5 stars? THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CARE FOR HEDGEHOGS. WRONG BEDDING, WRONG LIGHT, NO WHEELS, WORST KIND OF FOOD POSSIBLE,  TERRIBLE HIDING PLACE, MALES AND FEMALES IN THE SAME CAGE. COULDN'T ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS. I understand the hedgehogs are young. After they leave mom they should not have boys with girls. They are solitude animals. Females are induced ovulation so they ovulate when they sense a male. If they are constantly around males it can cause issues with the reproductive system. If pet stores are going to have animals they should know what they need and take care of them properly.

My friend and I bought two hedgehogs the same day from this store. We had done a little bit of research before our purchase. I was very displeased with the employee's recommendation for food. The hedgehog food they sold us "Pretty Pets" is complete garbage! The first ingredient is CORN which hedgehogs can't even digest that well! They also pushed a wire cage on my friend, that ended up not working due to not being able to regulate the temperature in the cage. When she took it back they acted like she was an idiot for thinking that temperature in a hedgehogs's cage matters. OF COURSE IT MATTERS!! If the temperature gets to low that will cause them to go into a false hibernation and they can possibly die. If they don't die it impacts their immune system negatively and makes them more susceptible to getting sick. It is a shame with how long this company has been operating that they do not seem to care or do any research before picking products to sell. They also offer very very poor/limited information concerning the animals they sell. If you are going to buy anything from them DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH! Do NOT rely on these people for information. They just want to get your money and get you out of the door! All the information I obtained and mentioned in this post was obtained from reputable breeders such as Volcano View Hedgehogs.
