Story

Our restaurant's history starts with Fat McBride's first venture into the restaurant industry, when he and his brothers would deliver sandwiches to soldiers passing through Wichita Falls. Over the years, the family slowly built up their restaurant business, and their legacy with it. That legacy is alive and well today at McBride's Steakhouse, and we honor it by staying true to the mesquite flavor that makes our steaks unique and the folks that join us for a good meal. We're as committed as ever to preserving our family's vision, and we aim to please our guests in the process.

Just went for the first time and I wonder why I never dined here before. I was with a group of more than 15 people. I ordered the Fat McBride Steak and ordered it medium (which is as far as they will cook it). I think it was closer to medium rare which doesn't bother me since I sometimes order my steaks that way. The loaded baked potato was good and I also had the broccoli soup. Everything was good. I would only take points away since there wasn't a drink menu listing general drinks they always have. My cousin would have ordered a pink lemonade if she knew they had it. But the staff was knowledgeable enough to answer our questions or go find out an answer when they didn't know. Overall I liked the food, the atmosphere was cool with the saddles and fireplace and the service was good.

The best place to eat steak in Wichita Falls and possibly in all of North Texas. If you are fortunate enough to be there on a day when they are having grilled tuna, get it. I haven't found it done better anywhere.

My wife and I had the sirloin for 2 as our main meal and the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. I must honestly say everything was perfect for our date night. I am really picky about how my steak is cooked, and it was awesome. Thoroughly impressed will recommend to all.

As we were driving through Texas on our way to Colorado we had decided to look for a quentisential Texas Steakhouse. This was our first time and was amazed at the menu and quick service. The waitress took her time with explaining the types of steaks on offer. We both had the T bone steaks and were amazing! Salads were super fresh. Great for visitors too with their decor and authentic Texan feel. Fully recommended! P.s plenty of butter 🤗

Love the early diner discount for arriving before 6!! And the yummy french onion soup.
