When I moved back to Michigan in '02, I was looking for a church home like the incomparable GLIDE CHURCH in San Francisco's Tenderloin District. (Which, if they're anything like Detroit these days, they've renamed!'!) My friend/housemate who had been same in Oakland, took me to MCC-D the 1st Sunday I was here. There is nothing here to compare to Glide, but this church, lead by the Rev. Doctor Roland Stringfellow comes damn close!!!!
