Great service and awesome bartenders! There happy hour ends at 7 and the deals are great. This is the type of place to watch sport, hang with locals and bring the dog!

What can I say?  I've never been disappointed with service or quality of drinks.  McCarthy's... can't go wrong.

A Kool low-key bar where all the locals go. Everyone was nice and easy going.

I like divey bars, but I do have my limits. I don't even mind bars that are pretty dirty...but I can't stand ones that smell bad. This one smells terrible.
Please don't take this review as attempting to be thorough--it's not. I had hoped to experience more of McCarthy's, but I couldn't manage to stay in there long enough.
If you smoke: you won't mind the smell at all. I don't doubt that it's otherwise fine!
