Great service. Great prices. Came the next day. Mike took it upon himself to not only fix the problem at hand, but bring system up to code, improve breaker functionality, as well as explain to tenants proper breaker and outlet resetting protocol. He even drove to my work to pick up payment. Highly recommended.

McDonald Electric worked tirelessly to solve our electrical mystery.  They were professional, friendly, effective and efficient.  Having a reputable, reasonable and proficient electrician gives an old house owner peace of mind.  Hopefully we won't have electrical problems often, but if (when) we do, we will rely on McDonald electric to take care of things.

This was a great service experience for us - the second time that McDonald Electric has done work in our home. Mike and his colleague found time in their schedule to see us the next day after our call.  They efficiently fixed our track lights and switch to get our kitchen lit, again!  McDonald will remain our go-to electricians.

Calling a number of high profile home solutions companies in ABQ, I consistently received the same statement from those other guys: "Our hourly rate is . . . blah".  Very different with McDonald Electric - when I called Mike at McDonald Electric, he took the time and talked about finding the problem with the electric in our home in a very solutions focused manner which appealed to me.  This led to a first meeting with Mike which was insightful, with a very real discussion on how to fix the problem.  When Mike came today to replace the box, he was again professional and courteous and I absolutely recommend him to anyone that needs electrical repair.  My wife and I are very pleased with his service and are confident that we won't have to call him again.  Thanks Mike - great job to you and your team!

Our lights were flickering badly throughout the house.  Mike came right away and found scorched wires in our ancient indoor circuit box and outdoor panel as well.  He redid the boxes for us. (I wish I'd kept a before and after photo of the inside of those boxes.) We are pleased to know all is now in good shape and pleased that the flickering has stopped.  Mike and his helper Steve were professional and courteous and lovely people. We highly recommend.
