Every time we order for ice cream, and milk shake the server always said that the machine it's broken. So we don't get our desserts.... 😭😭😭 very disappointed not just once or twice every time we go there never get what we want. Very sad to disappointed the children by taken them at McDonald's in West Milton Ohio. We will never go there again. Children favorite place to go for ice cream but they never get it.

This is, hands down, the worst McDonald's I have ever been to... *takes a deep breath* Ok, so let's dive into my visit yesterday (Saturday, September 7th). I went in at around 11:30am. Knowing that this is a small town McDonald's in the middle of their lunch rush- on a Saturday, I expected to experience longer than normal wait times. So, the wait time alone was no let the issue here. However... I arrive and the drive through line is wrapped around the building to the point where the end of the line is almost touching the front of the line and snaking back into itself- so I opt to go inside. I know that priority is given to the drive through, and that I won't necessarily be saving any time by going inside, but hey... Just didn't want to sit in the endless line outside. Get inside and there's no one at the counter (no customers in line, no staff at the register). Initial thought was, "Hey, at least I'll be first." But once I got up to the register, there were a dozen unfulfilled tickets waiting on the counter. So, any hopes of a chance quick service was dashed. No big deal, though. I fully prepared for a wait when I left the house. From here, it was painful to watch the staff running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They may have been understaffed, maybe not. However, the level of disorder and chaos was disconcerting. The moment that took the cake, however, was when the crew member at the drive through window yelled out (mind you... She didn't say it under her breath and I happened to over hear it. She YELLED it), "THIS IS F****** RETARDED!!" Her fellow crew members collectively stopped what they were doing for a moment, and a jaw or two even dropped. She could tell she was getting the "Did you really just say that" stare, and spouted- "AND I DON'T CARE WHO HEARS ME SAY IT!!" Now... I curse like a sailor, myself, on my own time. So, it's not like I am shocked and appalled over hearing curse words. I am, however, appalled to have experienced that in a professional (workplace) environment. I even took a look around and saw quite a few small children and minors in the lobby/dining area at the time. To my disbelief, no one said a thing... Parents, co-workers, no one. Really made me realize what the locals have come to expect from this particular establishment. This must be a normal and regular thing. Because no one batted an eye. And what stood out to me the most- the absence of leadership. Where were the shift leads, or AGMs or GM?? Why was there absolutely ZERO leadership presence on the floor. To top everything off (chaotic environment, obscenities, long wait time), when a I got back home and handed my brother his food, he opened up his sandwich, and lo and behold- they kitchen staff had managed to forget to put the egg on it. It was a McMuffin- Egg and Breakfast Sauce Only. He opened up a McMuffin with only Breakfast Sauce. How does this even happen?? At no point when closing up the sandwich did the crew member think, "Wait... It feels like something is missing." I went back to have it corrected. I wasn't hostile or belligerent. Just wanted the sandwich made correctly. I was surprised to see her take the sandwich that had already left the store, place it on the kitchen counter, and have the crew member add an egg to it. I, personally, have no issues with this course of action, but I know that it is McDonald's policy not to allow potentially contaminated food back into the kitchen. When the sandwich was brought back out to me, I asked what one employee's name was (the one that yelled obscentites earlier), and I was told her name was Carrie. I urgently recommend that Carrie be dismissed. This is not the mistake of someone that wasn't trained correctly. This was a blatant and offensive outburst, and to ensure that customers aren't subjected to it again, Carrie should be let go. Also, it would be my recommendation to replace the leadership that is in place and clean house- stricter enforcement of policy and replacing the crew members that can't adhere to a higher standard of customer service.

To blame for the sheer dysfunctional madness of this hellish establishment is mostly higher management and the owners. That being said there are a handful of wonderful people in the west Milton McDonald's, some are just unfortunately trapped 14 year old children, some of it has to do with feeling bad for people who should of been fired a million years ago and not hired back for the millionth time, you can only give someone so many chances. I also sympathize for the people who do work there that try (few of them but they are there) it's like beating a dead horse with a stick, your hard work gets you nowhere. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, it's a lot like Groundhog Day. There's a friendly clownesk Mr______ who tried very hard sometimes too hard to turn this place around, unfortunately one person can't do everything. So If you want a mild case of food poisoning idk if that's a thing but if it was you could get it here... If you want cold fries and your food fingered with unwashed hands this is the place for you!!!! This might be the first place that you could eat a sandwich from and end up with a sexually transmitted disease, so watch out you never know this Mcdonalds might make some serious headlines one day. I hate trashing this place but for real get your life together west Milton McDonald's.
