A year ago I would not have even given them a one star rating and really did not want to go in here today but since I left home a little late I decided I did not have enough time to stop at one of my favorite diners just up the road and did think that since I wasn't going to be home for 5 or 6 hours and could really use a bite to eat before I got home that maybe I should grab something I knew would be safe. When I walked in the side door I of course saw the "regulars" seated at their normal table as well as a few other tables occupied. When I got to the counter to place my order there was no mass of confusion but a knowledgeable young lady who took my small order and another possible manager who quickly grabbed the item and handed it to me with a smile. I almost thought I was in some other McDonald's than the one in Salem but I was not, there have either been some changes made here or all my recent visits were made at the wrong time. McDonald's as well as most fast food places are not places I go very often but once in a while you don't have a choice so you need to do what you need to do. Next time if the opportunity permits itself I won't be so cautious but will consider stopping in again.

You have to make sure your orders are correct at all times. They never seem to give you fresh french fries because they are always cold

Managers are terrible and rude well as drive thru

Watch what you order.  A manager might take it off and make pay full price for something you don't want!
